What do I need to start a WoD Werewolf LARP?

I know I'd need to get and become familiar with the basic Werewolf: The Forsaken book, and possibly the WoD book, but is there anything else special I need, since the only permission I'll probably need is my parents', since it'll probably be in my back yard for a while.
